Donjeux is a 25-ton, 17 metre by 4 metre steel-hulled replica of a Dutch Luxemotor barge.

Donjeux has the sweeping lines of the typical Luxemotor, with a high bow and curvaceous stern. The wheelhouse is two-thirds back from the bow. Behind it is the aft cabin and shower room; to the front is the kitchen and saloon, the bathroom, toilet and beyond that the fore cabin.

She is powered by a Beta Marine BV 3300 diesel engine, which produces 75 bhp @ 2,600 revs. This shares the engine room under the wheelhouse with a Kabola B8 boiler, a Victron Energy “Phoenix Multi” electrical management system and leisure and starter battery banks.

She is fully equipped for extended cruises, with an ample diesel tank, an 800L water tank, a gas oven and hob, refrigerator and kitchen equipment to cater for six.
